Where we work
CDC Projects builds and fits kitchen cupboards, bedroom cupboards, laminate flooring and home fittings for homeowners right across Cape Town. We’re based in the Southern Suburbs, but our installers travel to jobs across the peninsula, into the northern suburbs, out toward Table View and the West Coast, and through to the Helderberg.
The process is the same wherever you are. We come out to measure and have a look at what you’re working with, put together a written quote, and then build and install once you give us the go-ahead. Distance mostly affects scheduling rather than price: a job further from our base usually gets a full day set aside for it, so we’re not rushing between two sites in one afternoon.
We quote on kitchen cupboards, bedroom cupboards, free-standing cupboards, laminate flooring, and door and lock fitting the same way no matter which suburb you’re in. What changes from area to area is the kind of housing stock we’re working with — older houses with original built-ins in some suburbs, newer complexes and estates in others — and that’s part of why we’ve put together local pages rather than one generic services list.

Southern Suburbs
This is home ground for us, so it’s also where we do the most work. Southern Suburbs homes range from older freestanding houses with tired built-in cupboards to newer flats and complexes where storage space is tight. We fit a lot of replacement kitchens in this area, plus bedroom cupboards built to suit oddly shaped rooms that older Cape Town houses are known for.

Northern Suburbs
Durbanville, Bellville and Brackenfell have a mix of established family homes and newer estate developments, so we see everything from full kitchen replacements to fitting out a new-build from scratch. Laminate flooring is a common request in this part of town too, often alongside a cupboard job in the same visit.
West Coast & Table View side
Table View, Milnerton and Parklands have grown fast over the last decade, with a lot of townhouse complexes and newer freestanding homes. We do plenty of first-fit cupboard work out this way alongside the usual replacements and repairs, and it’s an area where door and lock fitting jobs come up often on newer builds.
Helderberg
Somerset West is the furthest we go on a regular basis, and it’s popular enough that we keep a dedicated page for it. Jobs out here tend to be booked a little further in advance simply because of the travel time involved, so it helps to get in touch early if your timing is tight.
